More than 70% of our body is water. Taking water in morning protects us from various diseases and also cures diseases. So it is very important to understand how to take water.

Intestine
Taking cold water shrinks the intestine(small intestine is the part of intestine where the absorption of nutrients and minerals takes place after digestion, when intestine shrinks then absorption will reduce and due to lack of minerals and nutrients different mal-nutritional diseases will occur) so try to avoid chilled
water. Water at body temperature is best for health but if it is not possible then take water at normal temperature.
Digestion
Water has importance after digestive process so do not take water immediately after taking food because it dilutes digestive acids and slow down digestion.
Even water immediately after taking food remains undigested and produce severe health problems. It is true that water immediate after food work as slow poison.
Generally, digestive process takes 45 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes to digest the food depends on the types of food (fruits digest less time than cooked foods). After digestion , it is
necessary to take water to facilitate digestive process.
In the middle of the meal to avoid thirst , take as
much water as you can before 40 minutes of eating.

In morning after wake-up take two to four glass of lukewarm
or warm water as required without brush. It makes your stomach healthy.
Always take fresh water (free from bacteria and virus i.e.
boiled or RO with required TDS i.e. 300 ppm to 500 ppm is good for drinking water.) and take water sip by sip.
Always take water in sitting position not standing.
Taking water in standing position for a long time creates joint pain and swelling in body.
If we use plain boiled water in place of bed- tea, the problem of constipation will be cured in few days without any side-effect.
